LOCAL ARTIST PROJECTS

Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is committed to showcasing the work of artists based in the region through its Local Artist Project initiative. 

BRAG’s Local Artist Project initiative provides professional development opportunities for artists living in the Central West by supporting the creation of new work and raising the profile of artists in the region.

This year, David Lake (26 March – 16 May), Karen Golland (21 May – 1 July) and James Blackwell (3 December – 23 January 2011) each have solo exhibitions. 

Previous Local Artist Projects have included exhibitions by Spencer Calveley, Nicole Welch, Louise Ranshaw, Rachel Ellis, John Merkel, Raquel Mazzina and Hui Selwood.
