Hill End AIR Dagmar Cyrulla Amanda Penrose Hart Anneke Silver
Hill End is a historic gold mining town some 80kms north of Bathurst which has a unique landscape and a rich cultural heritage that has held a special attraction for generations of visual artists since the 1940s.
The Hill End Artists in Residence Program is managed by Bathurst Regional Art Gallery in partnership with the Parks Services Division, Department of Climate Change. Since the Program’s launch in 1999 over 100 artists have spent time living and working in either Haefligers or Murrays Cottages.
Hill End A.I.R presents three solo exhibitions by artists who have spent time in Hill End in recent years, Dagmar Cyrulla, Amanda Penrose Hart and Anneke Silver.
