Turn is a digital animation work by local art and design duo WBYK (Sonny Day and Biddy Maroney) as part of the 2020 Bathurst Winter Festival Illuminations.
The animation features bold symbols in a set of looping animations including a water droplet and ripples, two figures hand in hand, a moon/sun rise, an all-seeing eye and a tear. The symbols convey a message of healing, strength and acceptance.
Turn is one of seven illuminations for the 2020 Bathurst Winter Festival and is projected in the BRAG/Bathurst Library Forecourt.
More information on the illuminations can be accessed by clicking here.
