Pictures of You
Saturday 15 August - Sunday 11 October
“I've been looking so long at these pictures of you
That I almost believe that they're real
I've been living so long with my pictures of you
That I almost believe that the pictures
Are all I can feel”
The Cure – Pictures of You
Bathurst Regional Art Gallery is delighted to announce a community photo portrait exhibition titled Pictures of You, with entries to the exhibition open to all members of the Bathurst community.
The COVID-19 pandemic turned life on its head, separating friends and colleagues. As restrictions ease, BRAG invites you to share a photographic portrait of someone significant to you. The portrait could have been taken during isolation, or more recently.
This is a great opportunity to have your photograph exhibited at BRAG and to be part of a community event. The exhibition will be a good chance to see members of the Bathurst community and to see and read about the different stories of people’s experiences in lockdown.
The exhibition will present the selection of community submitted photographic portraits as prints in the gallery space and as a digital exhibition on the BRAG website.
Pictures of You is open to photographers of all levels.
Entries to the exhibition are open now and close 11:59pm Wednesday 29 July. To enter your photograph, please click the button below:
